🐵 Il possède son propre répertoire de vocalisations. Les petits prennent 4 ans à l'apprendre correctement. Les 3 sons les plus importants servent à signaler un danger qui indique 3 prédateurs : le léopard, l'aigle et le serpent.
🐵 Le Vervet à une excellente mémoire pour distinguer les individus au sein du groupe. Il se souvient même des types de relations qui co-existe entre eux.
🐵 La femelle à 1 bébé à chaque 1 ou 2 ans. La gestation est de 5 mois et demi. Quand le bébé est né, les autres femelles peuvent prendre le rôle d'une tante (portage, amour et protection).

🐵 The vervet has an excellent memory for distinguishing individuals within the group. It even remembers the types of relationships that exist between them.
🐵 The female has one baby every one or two years. Gestation lasts five and a half months. Once the baby is born, the other females can take on the role of an aunt (carrying, loving, and protecting).

💛 Elles ne sont pas obligées de suivre les migrations puisqu'elles n'ont pas besoin d'eau quotidiennement.
💛 Il est difficile de reconnaître le mâle et la femelle puisque les deux ont des cornes. Les cornes du mâle peuvent atteindre jusqu'à 80 cm et ceux de la femelle jusqu'à 50 cm.
💛 Les bébés sont laissés à eux-mêmes et se cachent dans la végétation. La mère revient pour l'allaiter.

🩵 Choose very early morning hours (sunrise) for your adventures. The tourist crowds are in the afternoon and evening. + You'll get that cotton candy sky you always dreamed about.
🩵 If possible, choose the months of May, September and October (before and after the tourist peak).

(FR) Praia dos Mosteiros est un endroit unique sur l'île de São Miguel (Açores, Portugal). Situé à l'ouest, cette plage de sable noir d'origine volcanique est photogénique et attire les photographes & touristes. Bon à savoir :

💧La plage s'étend sur 500 mètres. Par temps calme, on y retrouve des tortues, poulpes et dauphins. Quand l'océan est agité, les surfers s'y plaisent. L'endroit est reconnue pour les coucher de soleil. Conseil photo : y aller au lever de soleil pour ne pas être à contre jour. L'accès est gratuit.
💧Selon les récits mythologiques, ces îlots seraient des portails menant à l'Atlantide, cette civilisation perdue qui aurait disparu dans les abysses.
💧 Attention aux galères portugaises (physalies) qui ressemblent aux méduses. Elles sont venimeuses. Ne pas les toucher, qu'elles soient mortes ou vivantes. Elles sont en plus grand nombre au printemps.

(FR) Lors de mon safari au Kenya, j'ai eu l'occasion de croiser l'éléphant d'Afrique ! Un mammifère qui impressionne par sa grandeur et sa prestance. Je veux vous partager 3 faits que j'ai appris sur ceux-ci :

🐘 Ils communiquent sur des kilomètres grâce aux infrasons. Les éléphants émettent des sons très graves que l’oreille humaine ne perçoit pas.
🐘 Ils pleurent et expriment leur émotion. Ils vivent les deuils intensément : ils restent près des ossements et caressent doucement les crânes des éléphants morts en signe de peine et d'amour.
🐘 Leur trompe est un véritable multi-outil ! Elle compte environ 40 000 muscles, et ils s’en servent pour respirer, boire, manger, se caresser… et même saluer leurs amis.
