Cela se fait de plusieurs façons : nourriture locale, anciennes traditions, visite d'endroits historiques, etc. Sur la partie sud de l'île de São Miguel (Açores, Portugal) se trouve la Fábrica de Cerâmica de Vieira que j'ai eu le plaisir de visiter. Voici pourquoi je vous conseille d'y faire un arrêt...

🧡 Sa fondation date de 1862, ce qui en fait la plus ancienne fabrique de céramique encore en activité aux Açores. L'entreprise est familiale depuis 5 générations !
🧡 On peut y voir le processus de production traditionnel, acheter sur place et admirer les artistes peindrent les "azulejos".
🧡 La visite est complètement gratuite. Heures d'ouvertures - lundi au vendredi de 9 à 18 hres + samedi de 9 à 13 hres. Bonus : vous pouvez prendre autant de photos que vous désirez. Allez-y tôt pour éviter la foule.

🧡 Founded in 1862, it's the oldest ceramic factory still operating in the Azores. The company has been family-owned for five generations!
🧡 You can see the traditional production process, buy tiles on-site, and admire the artists painting the azulejos (tiles).

🦏 Baby white rhinos stand in front of their mothers so she can watch for predators in the open savannah. (For black rhinos, it’s the opposite — they stay behind their mothers in the dense bush for protection.)
🦏 After a 16-month pregnancy, a single baby is born and stays with its mother for about three years, nursing up to 30 times a day!
🦏 Babies are born without a horn — just a small bump that soon grows as they practice playful charges at bushes.

J’ai eu l’immense privilège de rencontrer un bébé rhinocéros blanc au Ol Pejeta Conservancy, reconnu pour ses programmes novateurs de protection des animaux — un arrêt incontournable si vous prévoyez un voyage au Kenya.

🦏 Le bébé rhinocéros blanc se tient devant sa mère pour qu’elle puisse mieux surveiller les prédateurs dans la savane. (Chez le rhinocéros noir, c’est l’inverse : il reste derrière sa mère dans la brousse pour être mieux protégé.)
🦏 Après 16 mois de gestation, un seul petit naît et reste avec sa mère jusqu’à environ 3 ans, tétant jusqu’à 30 fois par jour !
🦏 Les bébés naissent sans corne, seulement avec une petite bosse molle qui pousse après quelques semaines — ils s’entraînent alors à charger les buissons, trop mignons!

(FR) Nostalgie. Quand je me remémore ce coucher de soleil au sommet de Lagoa do Fogo (surnommé : Lac du Feu), je me souviens des couleurs pastelles du ciel et du bleu éclectique de l'eau. C'est un endroit tout à fait unique sur l'île de São Miguel qu'il vous faut absolument voir. Voici quelques faits intéressants sur ce lieu:

💜 Lagoa do Fogo est situé dans une caldeira volcanique (ancien volcan Água de Pau). La dernière éruption remonte à 1563. Cette zone est classée Réserve Naturelle depuis 1974 et présente une végétation endémique.
🩵 Le site est souvent couvert par la brume et les nuages. Il faut regarder la météo la journée même pour mettre les chances de son côté. Si la vue se dégage, vous verrez même l'atlantique!
🩷 Dans la saison touristique (mi-juin à début septembre), le site est fermé aux voitures de location et à la circulation routière. La seule option est de prendre une navette (tour organisé). Meilleure astuce : s'y rendre en voiture hors saison.

🩵 The site is often covered in mist and clouds. Check the weather forecast that day to maximize your chances. If the view is clear, you can even see the Atlantic!
🩷 During the tourist season (mid-June to early September), the site is closed to rental cars and road traffic. The only option is to take a shuttle (organized tour). Best tip: drive there in the off-season.

🖤 Munissez-vous d'un trépied. Installez votre caméra dessus et trouver votre composition & votre perspective;
🖤 Dans les paramètres de votre caméra, sélectionner un retardateur (5 ou 10 secondes). Vous ne voulez pas qu'en appuyant sur le déclencheur, la photo se prenne tout de suite car votre appareil pourrait bouger;
🖤 Afin de faire une longue exposition, il faut descendre la vitesse d'obturation. Le chiffre dépendra de plusieurs facteurs mais s'il s'agit de vagues assez grandes sur l'eau, je vous conseille entre 10 et 30 secondes (dépendemment de l'agitation des vagues). Il ne vous reste plus qu'à cliquer.
